We are proud to be hosting a fun packed family fun weekend on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd June 2018.
There will be a whole range of attractions over the course of the weekend and something for everyone – young and old – including fairground rides, craft stalls, BBQ, outside bar and a carvery on Sunday. There will be live music all weekend and lots of food and drink options. All of the stallholders will pay a pitch fee, which will then be donated to charity. The chosen charity is The St John Ambulance Service, who will be in attendance both days, and we hope to raise valuable funds for this very worthwhile charity.
Proceedings start at 10am on Saturday 2nd June with fun and food throughout the day and, weather permitting, a BBQ and outdoor bar. The live music kicks off around 7.00pm with Outer Limits and The Beachcombers. Sunday 3rd will see the launch of the Navigation’s new carvery service and the music, provided by Special Brew and No Particular Order, will start around 2.30pm.
Roger, Landlord of the Navigation Inn, says: “We decided to do something fun for all the family when we heard that the Whaley Water Weekend is not running this year. The Water Weekend has been an event cherished by the people of the High Peak and beyond for many years. We hope that the ‘Big Buggy Bash’ will give everyone a fun family weekend with a charitable slant.”
The event is free to attend and everyone is welcome.
